My little baseball star

See the ball??

This was the big tournament a few weeks ago. They did very well considering they played up, meaning they played 9 and under boys instead of 8 and under. Most of our boys are still 7 years old.

B got to play catcher, third and he also got to pitch. He had a blast!

They both wore their USMC shirt on the same day.

Hey All!

I have been so busy that I haven't had time to blog lately. When I have a sec. I promise to blog and post new pictures. We have a wedding next weekend, so I'm sure I'll have a ton to blog about.
(Reid's nephew) is getting married and we are all very excited. The wedding will be in Corpus Christi. Let's just hope Hurricane Ike holds off or is not as severe as they say it's going to be.
HUGS:)

MDO

My class

L having so much fun!
Nap time!

Here are a few pictures I captured of L's first day at MDO. She was a little worried about having to share her Momma, but she did for the most part. She was so cute!

Back to work.....

I finally decided it was time for me to go back to work.......part time.
L and I will be going to Parents Day Out (PDO). My dear friend who is a director at the Methodist Church in Red Oak (off Red Oak Road) offered me a position working with the 1's and 2 year old class. I took the job. It's only 2 days a week (Monday and Wednesday) 5 hours a day and it gives us something to do. We went up to visit last week and L loved it. I'm a little nervous since L is in my class along with 5 others. We'll see how it goes.

Storm takes 2nd place

playing 3rd base
Batter up! They were so dirty from sliding
Storm and Muck Dogs 1st place winners
Way to go Storm!

The tourney is over......yesterday we were at the fields for 7 hours. The boys played 3 games and never gave up. You could tell after the 2nd game they were beat down but, they kept going. We are so proud of our boys. They placed 2nd in the 9and under tournament in Mansfield. Mind you, our boys are only 7. We lost to the Muck Dogs. These boys were not only good at baseball, they were about as tall as me (height and weight). Our boys looked tiny standing next to them. In fact the team that played them before us swore that the 1st baseball had drove himself there. (too funny)

Next week are back to coach pitch - this was just a weekend thing we did since there were no coach pitch teams signed up for this tournament.

Here are a few pics I captured this weekend.
