1. What is your favorite thing about Springtime? I love to see the flowers in full bloom.

So pretty!!

Other than cutting their sandwiches in the shape of hearts or snowflake, no. They enjoy that though.

3. What are you looking forward to this weekend?

B's 1st baseball tournament, Birthday parties, and spending family quality time together.

5. Laundry detergent: liquid or powder?

For a while I was using powder but only because I saw my friends laundry detergent in a CUTE glass jar. But now I buy whatever is the cheapest BUT also smells good. And lately it's been the liquid.

6. What does your spouse do around the house that you appreciate the most?

He can fix anything. And he gets to it right away. He also helps out in the kitchen.

7. Do you converse with the grocery checker or pay and bolt?

I do, I'm a social butterfly.

Dribble it, pass it......

My husband and I decided to buy the kids a basketball goal for Christmas since we do spend most of our family time doing just about anything that involves the great outdoors. However, I sometimes wonder if he bought it for himself. (my hubby that is)

My husband still thinks he's 18. I came out to play a game of horse with them and this is what I saw......of course I ran and got my Nikon. I can't believe after 14 years that he could still dunk. Oh so sexy......I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.

He still plays on Saturday mornings but, I never get to actually see him play since I'm always too busy doing other things.

I had heard, he's still is that awesome player he was back in the day.

FYI - we are HS sweethearts so it brought back a lot of memories of when I stood on the sideline cheering for him..."Dribble it, pass it, we want a basket!!!!"................shoot for 2....2.....2.....clap, clap!

I had to stop cheering.... it was also out date night. I didn't want to excite him and get him all sweaty before our date.....no way!

How long have you been together? All together.... 15 years

How long did we know one another before dating? Being that we are from the same small town. We have known each other forever....but started dating in HS. He was such a cutie and still is!!!

Who asked whom out? Actually, my BF, his teammate sort of set us up. I saw him walk by, as we stood there talking about him going on a date with my friend. I really never noticed R until that day......my exact words" Woo he's a CUTIE, I've never noticed how cute he was!!!" Of course you know guys, can't keep secret. He told him a minutes after that. R then asked me out only because he knew I was interested. And I said "YES!" but never knew until a few months after dating that he knew what I had said. So....I guess he asked me out....Handed me a letter and all. CUTE!

How old are each of you? me- 31 hubby- 32

Whose siblings do you see the most? His - since he has 4 brothers and 4 sisters. And 1 lives not to far from us. They are the best!!!

Did you go to the same school? Yes, we are high school sweethearts!!!

Who is smarter? I have no shame in saying he is.

Where do you eat out the most as a couple? This awesome Chinese restaurant called Peeking Dragon. We eat there once a week.

Where is the furthest you two have traveled as a couple? Orlando, Florida

Who has the craziest exes? None! Lucky us, we met so early on.

Who has the worst temper? I would have to say me but I rarely ever get mad. I'm a very forgiving person....but in the long run I'd say me

Who does the cooking? Me, most of the time. But he is by far the better cook.

Who is more stubborn? HIM. HIM. HIM. HIM!!!

Who hogs the bed? I'm afraid that would be HIM!!

Where was your 1st date? At a steak house called Porter House.

How long did it take to get serious? Well.....not sure it was serious till after we graduated HS. I knew after 3 months that I wanted to be with him forever!!

Who eats more? He does for sure but I can certainly put down my share.

Who drives when together? Always him....

It's Friday and I have so much to do before my hubby comes home today, however, I wouldn't dare leave you hanging without a Grilling session!!

1. What is your favorite family activity? My favorite family activity is going to the zoo, a big amusement park, playing horse in the back yard.

2. Do you know how to play poker? No, I've never tried to learn how to play. My husband is pretty good though.

3. Have you ever been to a chiropractor? Regularly? No, but I sure need to have my back adjusted.

4. Have you ever slopped pigs or milked cows? I have never slopped pigs or milked cows. I hope to one day though. I need to find someone with a farm first. I think the kids would get a kick out of it.

5. How are you doing with the goals you made for the New Year? Doing great actually.

6. Is there something you dread doing every day? I dread making beds everyday....

7. What room in your home would you most like to buy new furniture for? My dining room FOR SURE!! It was given to us when we moved into our first home, back when we only had 1 child. We now have 3 kids.

8. If I had a dollar for every ______________, I'd be able to ______________.

If I had a dollar for every purse I own, I'd be able to buy myself a NEW dining room table and chairs CASH!!!! lol

Yay, I finally made it home today. I was out running around majority of the day and was sad that I didn't get to blog this morning, much less read anyones blogs. I promise to make time tonight.
Let's see...what can I blog about today?
Well, my husband has been out of town all week. And honey, we made it!! He's actually been at a Resort, on the beach, in Port Aransas (I'm so jealous) If only it had been 3 weeks from today (our spring break) we could have all gone with him. Oh well, things don't always works out the way you want them to, right? In fact yesterday when he called. I asked him "Are you coming home with a tan?" Here I'm thinking he's getting plenty of sun, swimming, walking the beach...but NO! He said "Babe, I haven't seen the sun since I left big "D". And suddenly I wasn't jealous anymore.
I had to brag to him about the weather here in Dallas yesterday. It was in the 70's - gorgeous and dry. They had rain....rain....mist and more mist - Over cast the entire week. I could only imagine.
I am sad that he didn't get to enjoy the beach.

Oh, and I have also started a new book by Dr. Emerson, LOVE and RESPECT. It's so good!

I took this picture of my little one a few days before her 2nd birthday. I let her do her run around and do her own thing since we were at the duck pond and she was so excited!!

I've noticed that most of my favorite pictures always seem to be of them not looking directly into the camera.

Mi Amor

We had an AWESOME Valentines day. I am truly blessed!
My sister in law came over and stayed with our kiddos while we went to lunch and a movie. WE had a great time talking with no interruptions. We laughed a lot while having lunch and we even got to cuddle at the theater. I even stole a few kisses from my prince charming during the movie. Since it was a cold we stopped at Starbucks for some coffee and dessert. (he knows me to well) It was DELISH!! Thank you AMOR!!

INSTALLING A HUSBAND

Dear Tech Support: Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewellery applications,which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, andthen installed undesirable programs such as ESPN 5.0, VIDEO GAME 3.0 and ULTIMATE FIGHTING 4.1.Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?

DEAR DESPERATE: First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme. html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta. Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.) In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend: Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7..7. Good Luck !

Making Cents.....

It's finally all making sense to me.
I always wondered why people used coupons and now it all makes sense to me. It's not that there being cheap, or don't have the money to pay for it, in fact they are just being smart. I'm guilty! I was always the one to get stuck behind a coupon clipper and I hated it. My thoughts were.... is she really saving, can this take any longer than it already is, is it too late for me to move to another lane, GOOD GRIEF how many coupons does this lady have?.......yup that was me. Now I'm the one clipping coupons and looking for all the good sales.
Well, today I met my hubby for lunch. Told him all about the sales going on today. I was pumped! I had done my research and was ready to hit the stores. And that I did! With my purse and coupons in one hand and my little one on the other, I walked into each store ONLY buying the sales items I had coupons for. My friend was shocked as I paid for all my items and I have to admit so was I. I've used coupons before but not faithfully. I saved more than half then what I should of paid. It was actually fun! I can't wait for next time.

What I was really excited for: Maybelline lip stick - Original price 9.99 Sale price 3.99 My coupon $2.00 - I paid 1.99 YAY!!!
