What do you carry? I carry Kathy Van Zealand.

I saw this cute tag/post over at Alica's blog http://minyards7.blogspot.com/,. I thought it was cute and easy, so I decided to do it too!

Here are the rules!

1) Post a picture of whatever bag you are carrying as of late. No, you cannot go up to your closet and pull out that cute little purse you used back before you had kids. I want to know what you carried today.

2) I want to know how much it cost:) And this is not to judge, because I’m honestly telling you I was ready to put down some cash; I just got lucky. This is for entertainment purposes only. So spill it. And if there is a story to go along with how you obtained it, I’d love to hear it.

3) Tag some chicks. And link back to this post so people know why the heck you’re showing everyone your diaper bag/non-diaper bag.

I LOVE these bags! My 1st one I have been wanting for a while now and I finally got it on Friday. It's brown - You can never go wrong with the color brown, being that it's one of my favorite colors to wear! I can use it any time, and it's just the perfect size for my wallet, cell phone, and anything else I want to carry around! The only down side is that it is VERY heavy, because of the chains and charms on it but it's ok I love BLING!! As far as the price, I found it on SALE at Macy's for $65. So it was a good deal. The brand is Kathy Van Zealand.
My 2nd bag, Is actually my 2 year old daughters diaper bag, snack bag, toy bag. What ever you want to call it. It's a brown cheetah print bag with red trim so it can only be carried in the fall or winter season.
Consider yourself tagged! So..come on, show us YOUR bag!!

I love a rainy night.....

Don't you just love a rainy day. I wish I could be in my PJ'S all day, OK, maybe not all day but half the day enjoying a good book or a good romance/comedy movie. Unfortunately, I had my son home today sick. He's better today after I took him to the Dr and found out it was nothing but a viral infection, thank goodness. I think the crud is making it's way around our family. For now the boys are the only ones who are sick . The girls are healthy - for now.
On the menu tonight is beef stew that's been cooking since last night, in the crock pot (YUM). It smells great in here!!! Maybe that will help comfort my sick boys!!

What is it with men and their toys....

A few months ago R thought of, what he thought was a great idea - flipping motorcycles ( I thought to myself "WHAT") but he was so excited when he was explaining how he was planning to do it all, I couldn't voice my opinion or thoughts on that, or at least not at the moment. All I could think about was - my workaholic husband wants to bring on another project. And my second thought was "what is it with men and their toys?"
As if we are not busy enough with the kids and their after school activities.
Needless to say he got started on the 1st bike he was able to purchase and a good price, I might add. It's been a working process but he's got it up and running. It's passed all the inspections, and we finally got the tags for it last weekend. shwww
Remember the plan was to flip it! So that to me meant it would be SOLD!!!!
I think R did some bonding with the bike after all the time and effort he put into it. He still would like to do a little more to it but it's running and it looks great! As much as I'm scared for him. I know it would make him very happy to get to ride it to and from work - when it gets warmer of course.
I couldn't really get mad at him for wanting to keep it since gas prices are going back up and I did have to get a new vehicle that unfortunately consumes more gas.
Who knows you may be seeing me on the back of a motorcycle soon with my pink helmet.
